Quinceanera sparkle!
Thanks to stars like Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian, sparkles are in (and not in that ew gross it looks like a pixie fairy exploded all over her clothes). One of my favorite blogs to read Cup Cakes and Cashmere shows the blog author Emily wearing these funky gold glittering nail polish. Tres chic. There is definitely a way to glam it up in a classy way, without looking to cheapy.

Back to Basic Quinceanera Decorations
Think clean lines, 2 colors maximum and lots of white space. This year, quicneaneras are bright bright bright and over the top! Next year, my prediction, is that people will really want to tone it down a notch, and go back to the decorating basics.
I recommend 2 color combo's maximum, lots of 'white space' on your invitations and keep the guests dining tables clutter free. One simple, yet elegant centerpiece (perhaps a tall vase with a floating votive candle).

Metallic Glam Quinceanera
Gold, Silver, Platinum or any combination of the above is definitely going to be IN next spring and summer. I prefer to wear a metallic glam look in a rocker chick sort of way- think Kristin Stewart at the 2010 MTV video awards. (I LOVE her makeup!)
