Dress Altering
Many gowns need at least some sort of alteration, but keep in mind that your alteration issues can vary greatly, depending on where you got your gown and how many changes need to be made. But if your expectations are in order and you go to the right seamstress or tailor, you should be ready for your wedding day with a gown that fits flawlessly.
Alteration Steps
- Please correspond to us via email, in which attaches your dress ' picture, also explicitly explains alteration requirements, alteration timeframe.
- We will confirm alteration feasibility in reply. If yes, you will quote for this alteration handcraft and fabric.
- Return your dress to us.
- We will repeat step 2 again in this step. That is, we will confirm alteration charges and air freight charges for customer's payment.
- Send back to customer when alteration completed.
Alteration Charges
- We will charge $20 for narrow requirements within 2W BHW (bust, waist, hips). If more than 2W BHW, quote according to your dress' picture will send in email.
- We will charge $20 for enlargement requirement, which should be done according to inseam. Plus fabric quote according to your dress's picture.
- In respect of dress length shortening, we will charge $20 if your dress bears bottom or made of lace. And $10 if your dress bears none of bottom or lace.
- In respect of dress length lengthening, which should be done according to inseam, we will charge $20 if your dress bears bottom or made of lace. And $10 if your dress bears none of bottom or lace. Plus fabric quote according to your dress' picture.
- We will quote for additional embroidery, appliqu and decoration separately.
- We will charge $30 for built-in crinoline.
- In respect of sleeve adding, we will charge $30 for short sleeve. And $40 for 1/2 sleeve, 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve.
- We will charge $20 for sleeve cutting.
- We will charge $50 for style change, for example from princess to mermaid.
Fabric Cost:
- We will charge $10 a yard for satin, chiffon, taffeta, organza and tulle.
- We will change $30 a yard for lace.
